2012: Thank you!

2012 has been the best year I could've hoped for! I have achieved so much that I am so proud of and met so many people. I feel like I have grown as a person-confidence wise too, and found out who I am. I was always more afraid of being who I really was, a booklover, an aspiring-writer and a day dreamer. I also love to have everything organised and enjoy music and fashion. All in which I have really found out in this year. I've faced new challenges, visited so many new places, created memories that I will always remember and found life-long friends. I started blogging in April and since then I have made so many new friends, found something that I really love to do and found confidence. I want to thank everyone who has read this blog and the followers that read my posts and comment. Who have become my friends, who are always ready for a conversation all about books and to get excited over one of our favourite books being made into a film. Most of all, the funny chats we have about book-boyfriends. Thank you to everyone who has sent me an email-because each time I see that I have something, waiting to read, I still get excited. Your support has been amazing-and I feel like I have become better at writing, reviews and everything else I do on this blog. I have been able to start writing a column for a newspaper, getting the chance to have book-shaped packages through my door for reviews and even challenge myself to write a 18,000 word novel in just one month. It has built my confidence, self-esteem, made me so happy and proud. I've also discovered The Hunger Games-which all the people who know me probably wish I hadn't! And been able to get to know so many incredible people!

This time last year, when we were saying farewell to 2011, and making our resolutions for 2012, I never thought about starting a blog, or reading more as one of them. But, I always make resolutions  because it's good to set a goal.

  1. To achieve something I have never achieved in before.
  2. Join a club or group where I can meet more people whether it is a writing club or drama.
  3. Read a different variety of books and genres including the classics. Finally read the Harry Potters!
  4. Write more. Possibly write a novel-however short it may be.
  5. Achieve in school: work hard, get good levels, do well.
  6. Be more confident-be more comfortable in different situations and in-front of my peers.
  7. A really important one for me is to stand-up for myself. I always feel like I allow myself to be picked without saying anything because I'm naturally afraid.
Happy New Year! Thank you for making this year and I hope you have a great 2013. And now as midnight approaches, I'm actually really sad to see 2012 come to a close.

Thank you! And since I'm thanking everyone, I have to say a big thank-you to my family who I never let look at my blog, but support me in everything I do!
I'm so sorry because this is my last post until next year!

    1. Happy New Year to you to! You guessed right- I couldn't help mentioning it! You know how much I love The Hunger Games! I really need to read Harry Potter, I think it's because the people around me have read them and love them.
Hope you have a great 2013!
